Does the Starlink Mini Magnetic Mount work on aluminum?
No. The mount requires a compatible ferrous magnetic metal surface. Aluminum, fiberglass, glass, plastic and other non-magnetic surfaces are not suitable.
Can I mount it on a vehicle hood?
Yes, if the selected area is sufficiently flat, clean and made from compatible magnetic metal. Test the exact mounting area with a magnet before installation.
Can the magnetic mount be used while driving?
The mount is designed for vehicle travel and driving when correctly installed on a compatible flat magnetic metal surface. Check the installation before driving and whenever the mount is repositioned.
